Given REGO-FIX’s passion for excellence, it’s only appropriate that another equally passionate Swiss company was welcomed as a REGO-FIX Center for Machining Excellence partner.

Diametal, located in the bilingual city of Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, specializes in Swiss cutting tools and superabrasive wheels while providing Swiss-made craftsmanship, cutting-edge tooling technology and custom engineering services to a global audience since 1936. In July of 2024, Diametal became a REGO-FIX Center for Machining Excellence partner and established its first North American presence to further broaden strategic partnerships and business relations.

Parallels between Diametal and REGO-FIX run deeper than just a connection between leaders in tooling solutions. Aside from manufacturing complementary products, both companies hail from a Swiss heritage of precision and quality while co-existing in a manufacturing community dedicated to exactness and meticulous attention to detail.

Functioning as a North American hub for Diametal, the Center for Machining Excellence provides the company not only the chance to expose its tooling and services to a broader audience, but to also share information and establish its North American headquarters. Diametal currently has a dental implant torch milling demonstration operating with plans for a surface finish demo in the works for the near future.

Diametal also uses the Center for Machining Excellence and its warehouse as the “North American annex” for its own application center in Biel/Bienne, said David Kouidri, Diametal Director of Operations for North America. The Swiss application center is a dedicated space for innovation, where engineers and specialists design, test and refine each Diametal solution. Diametal’s Swiss applications operations have already begun exchanging tooling and programming solutions to North America for testing at the Center for Machining Excellence.

“REGO-FIX had a vision and really hit the nail on the head for what the manufacturing industry needs,” Kouidri said. “This is a tremendous benefit to all the partners within this community of interest to learn and grow together.”

Located at 4420 Anson Blvd. in Whitestown, Indiana, just a short 30-minute drive from Indianapolis International Airport (IND) in the heart of North America’s manufacturing corridor, the Center for Machining Excellence reflects the REGO-FIX triangle of core values: integrity, excellence and growth. The facility further strengthens the company’s position as an industry leader by producing the very best in Swiss precision products that empower customers to reach their maximum potential.
