REGO-FIX to Feature Toolholding System at SHOT WeekSM Suppliers Showcase

Jan 9, 2025

WHITESTOWN, Ind., January 9, 2025 – Before more than 55,000 hunters, outdoor enthusiasts and law enforcement officials arrive in Las Vegas to attend the annual SHOT Show in January, the event’s more than 2,500 exhibitors will have access to manufacturing partners integral to developing their products at The SHOT WeekSM Suppliers Showcase. REGO-FIX USA will be part of the supplier showcase and will feature its popular powRgrip toolholding system in booth #52226.

REGO-FIX developed its powRgrip system for stable toolholding when machining parts made from all types of materials making it an ideal fit for the breadth and depth of products showcased by SHOT Show exhibitors. Whether machining firearms or tactical gear, the powRgrip’s press-fit toolholding delivers higher precision, with greater vibration damping for longer tool life and superior part surface finishes.

The powRgrip tool clamping/unclamping units use automated toolsetters and load a tool into a holder in under 10 seconds, ready for immediate use. The units achieve a 1,100 Nm clamping torque rating, the industry’s highest, and their 0.0001″ TIR is guaranteed throughout five years or 20,000 toolsetting cycles. The technology uses neither heat nor hydraulics, so tools are safe to handle immediately after the clamping cycle concludes. The REGO-FIX clamping methodology avoids the limitations and tool-life compromises of other systems.

“It is crucial for firearms manufacturers to reduce machining cycle times, improve part accuracy and maintain process repeatability,” says Jeff Schemel REGO-FIX’s General Manager, USA. “From billet to barrel, the powRgrip system helps companies efficiently manufacture each part to exact tolerances and with extraordinary surface finishes.”

Guests to the supplier showcase can also speak with REGO-FIX’s technical experts at the show to explore the company’s full line of premium toolholding products. Known for legendary Swiss quality, REGO-FIX provides optimal fit and accuracy to minimize vibration and tool runout while also maximizing clamping force, toolholding security, tool life and output quality.
