Reporting of the Position:

The position will interact directly with both financial management at our parent company and operational managers in the United States and Latin America.

  1. Position reports functionally (with authority to issue policy directives) to the Chief Financial Officer – Rego Fix AG (Swiss parent) (“RFCH”).  The RFCH CFO will meet weekly with the position.
  2. Position will work closely on operational matters with the President of REGO-FIX Tooling Corp. (“RFUS”) and the General Manager – Latin American Operations (“LATAM”), respectively.  The RFUS President and LATAM general managers will meet monthly with the position.
  3. Position will follow Employee Handbook policies of RFUS and on a day to day basis report to the General Manager of RFUS.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Strategy and Planning
    • Assist management team to develop and execute the organization’s financial strategy in alignment with long-term goals.
    • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  2. Financial Operations
    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for RFUS and LATAM.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
    • Maintain SOP which document policies and procedures, and assure strong internal controls.
    • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk.
  3. Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead and mentor finance team.
    • Working with our outside PEO and internal staff, lead HR function within RFUS.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and capital allocation.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to the President RFUS, General Manager LATAM, board, and other stakeholders.
      • Manage 2-3 Direct reports within the Finance / HR Team
      • Oversee accountancy firms conducting financial reporting in Brazil and Mexico
  4. Risk Management
    • Assess and manage financial risks, including investments, debt, and operational risks.
    • Ensure strong internal controls and audit readiness.  Oversee CPA review and audit preparation.
    • Develop policies to mitigate financial and operational risks.
  5. Fundraising and Capital Management
    • Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
    • Work with RFCH CFO to optimize capital structure and ensure cost-effective access to capital.
  6. Strategic Reporting and Analysis
    • Provide in-depth financial analysis and reporting to support organizational goals.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (“KPIs”) and recommend performance improvement strategies.
    • Present financial updates to the board of directors and stakeholders.
  7. LATAM
    • Work with LATAM personnel to develop and work to achieve financial goals

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Experience: 7 + years in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in the relevant industry.  Work with operations in other countries a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
    • Leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
    • Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial tools.
    • Bi-lingual fluency (Spanish and/or Portuguese in particular) would be advantageous/ desirable though not mandatory
