WHITESTOWN, Ind., June 23, 2026 – REGO-FIX Tool Corp (REGO-FIX USA) is coating select models of its powRgrip® clamping systems with a new premium MicroTexture Finish. Now available on the company’s PGS 10, PGS 15, PGS 25, PGS 48, PGU 9500 and PGU 9800 units, the upgraded finish improves the durability, appearance and surface protection necessary to withstand demanding manufacturing environments.

The company will apply the MicroTexture Finish to the green and black/gray sheet metal panels that form the exterior of the powRgrip® clamping units. Designed to enhance both the aesthetics and performance of the units, the matte-type finish offers enhanced resistance to fingerprints, smudges and surface marks to maintain a clean, modern appearance.

“Our goal is to continuously improve every aspect of the powRgrip® customer experience, from toolholding performance to the appearance and longevity of the equipment itself,” said David McHenry, Vice President of Engineering at REGO-FIX USA. “Our MicroTexture Finish provides manufacturers with a more durable surface that reinforces the premium quality they expect from our products.”

REGO-FIX will implement the MicroTexture Finish as a rolling production change. All future units of the affected models will be manufactured with the upgraded finish, although customers may receive either the previous or new surface treatment during the transition period.

Additionally, the company is also evaluating similar enhancements for its PGC manual clamping unit.

The REGO-FIX powRgrip® system combines exceptional clamping force, precision and ease of use through a patented press-fit design that delivers superior runout accuracy, vibration damping and toolholding security for a wide range of machining applications.
